Happy New Year! We wish everyone good health, peace, and all the best in 2020. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who attended the 3’s and 4’s/5’s Christmas concerts. Also, many thanks for all the support and cooperation that we receive throughout the year. This allows us to provide the highest quality of care to the children at our centre.
The themes for the month of January are, Fairy Tales & Nursery Rhymes, Emotions & Manners and Winter. Here are some highlights of the activities that children will be experiencing this month:
- Fairy Tales in the gym (please let your child wear their PJ’s)
- Acting out various nursery rhymes
- King and Queen for the day (let your child wear his or her prince/princess outfit)
- Songs and stories on feelings
- Using table manners
- Bring in books to share
- Funky day (please let your child dress in funky wear)
- Celebrating Chinese New Year
- Sorting mittens by size, color, and shape
- Experiencing snow and ice
- Setting up an ice skating rink in the dramatic play area
- Enjoying winter games

- If there have been any changes to your address, phone number(s) and immunization records. Please stop by the office to update the information on your enrollment card.
- Please ensure all clothing and belongings brought to the centre are clearly labeled with your child’s full name
