We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all parents for your support and encouragement during our Lemonade Sale event. Our event generated a total sum of $80. With this, all children at CCLC will be rewarded with ice cream treats for their hard work and dedication.
Themes for the month of August are Space and Solar System, Sea & Ocean Life and School Days. Our Space and Solar system theme will continue until the second week of this month. Each playroom will be setting up Space Centre and children will have the opportunity to refine their ideas as they play in a unique Space Centre.
Through the Sea and Ocean Life theme, children will learn about sea creatures, the ocean, shells and undersea worlds. They will listen to stories about the ocean and sing songs about water, sand, and fishing. And most of all, they will learn to appreciate and value the natural environment and the elements that are a part of their world.
Many of the children in 4/5’s room are leaving us for Kindergarten. We would like to take this opportunity to wish them good luck and all the best in their learning.
